De La Vega to Skyline is a difficult 7.23 mile hike that proceeds through Siesta Valley in Orinda, CA. This trail can be accessed from multiple points, but we recommend starting near the trailhead parking area which can be accessed via Camino Pablo across from the Chevron station. There is usually parking either within the lot or on the street but it can be more difficult to find a spot on weekends or nice days.

The path is a mix of dirt and loose gravel.

Dogs are allowed on leash. The path begins by running west along De La Veaga trail before forking south onto Skyline Trail and running toward its conclusion at the Skyline summit. Elevation gains at portions of the trail can make it a more difficult hike, but the scenic views of San Francisco, the San Francisco Bay, and large portions of East Bay make the high a great one to tackle on a nice day.
