The Big Finn Hill Cutback is an easy 2.7 mile hike that jumps across several popular paths in Big Finn Hill in Kirkland, WA. This trail can be accessed from multiple points, but we recommend starting from the parking lot located behind Henry David Thoreau Elementary School which can be accessed via NE 138th St. The parking lot will generally have availability during the week given its size.

The path is a mixed of pavement, packed dirt, and gravel.

Dogs are allowed on leash, and the path is usually lightly trafficked on weekdays and on weekends. The path itself runs north before cutting west and traversing through wetlands. It will bank south running alongside 72nd Ave NE before eventually winding its way back to the parking lot. At any point you can easily take one of multiple branch paths to make the hike a bit longer or shorter.
