The Joaquin Miller Park Loop is an easy 3.3 mile hike the loop throughJoaquin Miller Park in Oakland. This trail can be accessed via Sanborn Drive, near the park community center.

The trail actually is made up of several trails that run throughout the park, but begins on Sunset Trail and heads east, before eventually turning north and running along the Sequoia Bay View trail.

The trail consists largely of dirt and packed gravel although at certain points it is paved. Dogs are allowed on leash, and the path is usually heavily trafficked throughout the week. It offers many scenic views of the bay, and while some portions do have a steep elevation gain, the trail is largely rolling with lighter dips and rises.
